Shanghai Foodie is the only food tour operator run by natives in the city. We love showing you around the city from a local’s perspective. Each of our tours covers one or more neighborhoods of historic Shanghai that most travelers or even Chinese wouldn’t normally venture to.
We are always eager to show you the hidden sides of the city with authentic Chinese cuisine and beverage at small, independent or mum& pop spots who's been more and more taken over by Starbucks and new shopping malls.

Jim Wang Jian
A native of Shanghai, Jim has been a tour guide and traveled all over China in search of food adventures back in 2014.
Later he settled down and started Shanghai Foodie tours. He love hazy IPA with fried dumplings on a rainy humid day.
Kiki Zhu Wanqi
She is a photographer shuttling through the streets of Shanghai with her film camera focusing on Shanghai cuisine.
After obtaining two higher degrees in the UK and travelling to eight countries, she will tell you what delicious Chinese food are supposed to be like.
Jade Zhu Liangyu
Learned all about Shanghai cuisine from her Grandma. Her deep bond with the city traced back from homemade family dishes.
She is proud to lead food tours to share her passion and love of Shanghai to anyone curious about our culinary traditions.
